Born in Normandy in the 1990s, Géraldine grew up making Land Art in the forest, brewing dandelion wine, and playing hide-and-seek among library shelves. Her first stories took shape while she was studying cultural mediation in Paris.

Driven by an insatiable curiosity, she embarked on a career in arts and cultural management after graduation, working in several countries along the way. Despite herself, she fell in love with Montreal and eventually settled there, working as a communications writer.

Géraldine is now pursuing a doctorate in political science at the Université de Montréal, where her research focuses on the political implications of humanoid robots powered by artificial intelligence. Whenever her academic work allows, she returns to her other creative pursuits: writing and improv.

At the intersection of culture, technology, and the imagination, her experiences inform writing that explores a changing world and the ways people seek to find their place within it. Notre mer is her debut novel.
