Loui Beaulieu est poète, dramaturge et conteur. Il refuse de séparer la vie humaine du monde sauvage. À travers des mots qui honorent l’esprit, la terre et les anciennes traditions, son œuvre célèbre ce qui nous relie : nos communautés, nos ancêtres et la terre sous nos pas. Son premier roman, Tonnerre-des-Bois, raconte le parcours d’un jeune chaman en quête de son pouvoir, dans un monde où la mémoire est plus ancienne que le temps et où la nature parle plus fort que les mots.
